‑‑no_out_extension

Description
By default, executable files are produced with the filename extension .out. Use this option to suppress that for files whose name do not contain a . (period) character. Such files will be produced without a filename extension.
Example
-o myApp ‑‑no_out_extension produces the file myApp.
-o my.App ‑‑no_out_extension produces the file my.App.out.
